Add Row Repeats
Row Repeats are used when you need to repeat a subset of rows a certain number of times before continuing on. Show Me
- You specify which rows need to be repeated and how many times to repeat that group of rows.
- To repeat all rows of a piece see here.
- You can add row repeats to any piece, written or charted, that has a one-tap marker.
Add a Row Repeat
- Tap Setup. Show Me
- Select the piece you want to work with.
- Tap Smart Counters.

- If you do not see the Smart Counter button be sure your selected piece has at least one visible row so there is a one-tap marker.
- Set the basic information about your piece, including how many times to repeat the entire piece. You can also specify if you are knitting flat or in the round and the direction of the first row.
- Tap the Blue+ on the right side and select Row Repeat. Show Me
- Select the row or rows to be repeated by dragging the highlight to cover the rows you want to repeat.
- For written instructions always add repeats from the top down.
- For charted instructions always add repeats from the bottom up.
- The From and To Row at the bottom is automatically updated based on your selection.
- Set the number of times you would like to repeat the selected rows.
- Name the repeat and optionally adjust the color and transparency by tapping the Color button.
- Add as many repeats as needed.
- Tap the arrow upper left to return to main setup.
