Magic Markers work with any chart that has a one tap row marker, even paper scans. Knitting with the one tap row marker.

Where can I find Magic Markers

There are two types of Magic Markers: Magic Markers and Custom Markers

Magic Markers

With Magic Markers you select a sample of the stitch, tap the wand, and the system finds all the matching stitches.

1. Tap Edit. Show Me
2. Tap Magic Markers. Show Me
3. Tap the Blue+ and select Magic Marker. Show Me
4. Tap the sample stitch. The best sample will generally be placed in the center area of the chart rather than at the edges. Show Me

5. Tap the Wand and it will find all the matches. Show Me
6. Name: Name the stitch.
7. Wand Sensitivity: You can adjust the wand sensitivity. Learn more.
8. Color Search: You can set the wand to search based on color or grey. Learn more.
9. Search Rows: You can search all rows, only odd rows, or only even rows. Learn more.
10. Manually Trim: You can manually trim the search results by tapping. Learn more.
11. Count: Once the correct stitches are found, Magic Markers can count long runs of stitches in the chart. Learn more.
12. Color and Transparency: Once the correct stitches are found, set the color and transparency.

Custom Markers

Similar to Magic Markers but without the wand, these are useful for marking specific stitches. Examples include marking bead placement or errata, and counting longer runs of non-matching stitches.

1. Tap Edit. Show Me
2. Tap Magic Markers. Show Me
3. Tap the Blue+ and select Custom Marker. Show Me
4. Tap each stitch you would like to mark (tap a stitch again to toggle it off).
5. Set the color, transparency, and optional count.
